So my short story did not get in to the anthology I sent it to and I have to say, it's got to be one of the nicest rejection letters of all time.
Eric Guignard is the chap in question and, as writer himself, he made sure to give individual feedback on the stories he turned down. For me, that included the observations that my submission was "a great story and I really enjoyed reading it. ... The story was well laid out, had an intriguing premise, and a great ending."
Nice! The way to this writer's heart is through his stories!
So...early next year, if you're looking for something to read, try "Dark Tales of Lost Civilizations", edited by Eric Guignard. It's bound to be pretty good!
