So, I have spent this week doing what my wife and I refer to as "living as a writer". That means I took a holiday from my "proper job" and focused exclusively on writing as if that were how I actually made my living.
It's now almost a full week and several thousand words later and, let me tell you, I'm loving it!
This is a brilliant way to make a living - well, aside from that whole, I barely make any money out of it yet, thing. Details, details!
Meanwhile, I'm very excited and challenged by the fact that I'm at the crucial confrontation part of the novel I'm working on. Huge battle. Mega magic. Dangerous aftermath. Fun, fun, FUN.
Right, I'm off to kill some characters now.
